FS: M3 Muffler and Custom Mtech Diffuser
Reposting the portions of my custom exhaust that are still available. Section 1 and 2 pipes have been sold. This is a factory E90 M3 muffler with inlet pipes and exhaust hangers all ready to bolt into any E90 335. I am also including a custom Mtech diffuser. In essence, this is a "cut-and-clamp" set-up that allows you to add the M3 muffler to your 335 (fyi, the muffler itself will fit an E92 but the diffuser is for an E90 Mtech rear bumper only). The muffler is an OEM take-off with less than 5K miles. It will flow more air than our stock 335 mufflers but with only a slight increase in sound and NO DRONE. Also, with the diffuser, the look is very unique vs. the other quad set-ups that are out there. $250 for the muffler, clamps AND diffuser shipped to the lower 48. The only clips I have are with a Rennart set of resonated pipes in place of the secondary cats. It's a little quieter with the OEM pipes.

Sorry, I don't know about an xi...I'm not familiar with how the exhaust routing might be different with the AWD components.
The muffler and diffuser will obviously fit fine, but I don't know if the hangers and pipes would all be the same. |

Damn, if I was sure that it would fit correctly, I'd be all over this ... Does anyone else have any input?

FYI, here are a couple posts that say that axle-back systems are the same, i vs. xi. If that's the case, then my M3 set-up should also fit just fine since it's only an axle-back (or section 3) set-up.
Sounds like the differences in the exhaust are in sections 1 and 2 closer to the motor. Let me know. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ght=xi+exhaust http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ght=xi+exhaust |

Yes, the LCI and pre-LCI diffusers are interchangeable.
Here's a link pics of an LCI diffuser put on a pre-LCI Mtech rear. Scroll down and you'll see several pre-LCI cars with the LCI diffuser. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...light=diffuser |

The diffuser is something I fabricated from an E46 M3 CSL piece made out of CF.
Here's the DIY I posted. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=394800 This is one of the things that makes this set-up so cool IMO...nobody else will have it, and it looks awesome. |
