If you're not leasing the car, may I suggest you take Geico's MBI (mechanical breakdown insurance). It covers repairs up to 7 years/100,000 miles and it's inexpensive compared to other extended warrantees. If you sell your car to another Geico policyholder, it is also transferable.

I actually just got my 328xi on Saturday. I have AIG, and I'm paying 1800 for 6 months. I'm 21 years old, going on 22. I'm calling Geico today to try and get a better price. I wish I could pay 1k for the year! I'll let you know when I go through Geico. |

I got it at Pace BMW in Mamaroneck, NY. I had the payment @ $457/month for 36 months/12,000 miles. Nothing down other than the sales tax, first/last month payment, etc. Then, I added that rim/tire protection so it was up to 470/mo. with that included. I figured a bent rim/blown tire would set me back more, so I just got it.

Just called Geico tonight, and my 6 month price was 1,024. This includes a 21 year old driver, 2 speeding tickets, and one of the most comprehensive coverages they offer. Hope this helps. Definitely saved a lot when compared to AIG.
