Spring Rate effect ride comfort

If we are going off the OEM spring rate
e90 ZSP or e92
Front: 145 lb/in
Rear: 460 lb/in

and spring rate was increase or decrease based on our aftermarket parts, what will the ride quality be like, bouncy/ squash/ boat feel?

I noticed every after market parts increase in spring rate not decrease.

There is much more than spring rate that effects ride qualiy.
