e90's with coilovers in winter mode...

Hey guys, I am very interested in picking up some KW V1's for my 328xi but i want to make certain that when cranked up to winter height i'll still have sufficient clearance for winter roads in NY. I've searched around the forum and found no pictures of e90's on coilovers at their highest setting. Anyone have pics of their e90s in winter mode? Thanks!

I've been looking for the exact same thing since I want to go the same setup. Ive heard that on the highest setting the v1s are about .5 inches lower than stock.. But I have no pics or hard data to verify this.

Hey guys, here is my setup for winter and KWV1's. I realize it's not an E90 but it's likely pretty close. That's about as high as it will go in the rear (to be within KW approved specs) and the front could go higher but I didn't want a reverse rake. They definitely take the car much lower than I originally expected.

Hope it helps a bit.

Thanks for posting the picture! Still seems low, almost Eibach Pro low. I'm not looking for a 4x4 but a ZSP height for winter would be optimal.

Nope, it does just fine in the snow. Even up in the mountains at 11000 feet!

I had KW's on my GTI for 5 years traveled the Laurel Highland mountains to and from work 150 mi round trip never had one issue. With that being said common sense must also be used Ive seen jeeps get stuck with a foot of snow on the ground. I worry more about the damage from salt than I do if the car is sitting to low. Crank up the height and put a good set of snow tires on you shouldn't have any probs.....This will be my first winter with the XI Im actually excited to see how she handles bring on the white stuff....
