e90 Interior LED help

I've read through a couple threads about the PnP LED replacements for the stock interior lights. I'd just like to clarify one thing.

Would I be able to turn on the LEDs while the car is in drive mode? I need the function to turn on the map light when the car is driving during long trips. Could all the PnP LEDs turn on this way or are there only specific brands that will work?

TIA

Yes, you can do what you want, error-free, with the e92-lighting set or with the F1Autohaus Euphoria 6K set.

LEDs work just like regular bulbs. No difference in the controls and what lights you can use while driving. You just get a nicer bright WHITE light.
