lol, we have like maybe an inch here in Chicagoland. Last week it was 50 degrees outside. Now it's been about 20 the past couple of days. Good thing too, because everyone seemed to be getting sick lately. (cold and wet, kinda like an extended flu season really). Damn global warming.

Hey... that was in my hometown Portland, Oregon the other day. I watched it on the news. The roads were crazy here. I pulled my car out to see if I could drive. But no go. I was sliding everywhere.

DTC didn’t help much because it was way too slick and icy under the snow. I went around the block and pulled back in the driveway and stayed home. I even had to shovel my drive just to pull back in. I could get up the slight grade.

Man, there were so many accidents all over the roads. I even saw a couple of X5's all banged up from accidents and on the news. Glad I kept my car at home.

it's usually around 14-24 degrees here this time of year... was talking to some colleagues from Russia yesterday (they had a terrible winter last year with temperatures of -30 - -40 in Moscow ) and they had 40 degrees yesterday!!!
something is terribly wrong with the weather...

Were those drivers drunk or just stupid? After you bounce off several cars and poles, doesn't common sense say you take your foot off the gas, get out, and find another way?

Apparently it was a woman in the Volvo. She hit her head and was either dazed and confused or unconscious for a moment, but her foot was still on the gas.

One of my co-workers husband works for the TV news station that had the footage. That’s what she told me this morning.
