bumper repaint ballpark
Hey guys,
I'm considering having my front and/or rear bumpers fixed/painted. The previous owner of my car had the corner of the rear bumper fixed, and now the paint is peeling a bit and its getting worse. With the exception of this corner, the rear is totally fine otherwise. The front just has a litany of chips and scratches from people "tapping" it while parallel parking and general wear and tear. I don't think either needs to be replaced, but I am curious how much it might cost to repaint them? Any ideas? I am going to get estimates, but I'd be curious what others think so I have a frame of reference. My car is metallic black if it makes any difference. Just a respray is ballpark $400-500. Sounds like that will get it back to looking good.

To my best knowledge, if the old paint is peeling off, respaying alone won't be the best option. $400-500 seems about right. I'm looking for a good shop to repaint my rear bumper too. NY street parking sure does quite a bit of damage.

I'm considering respraying my front as well, it's just hammered with little rock chips. The problem is I know I'd want to clear bra it afterwards, which would add another few hundred bucks. I was expecting to pay about 500 for just the respray though
