Been tooling around with some ideas....been slaving away at this computer getting the proof of concept working and now it finally is....

going to crack back open my BT tool and decompile the software to locate the commands to push code clearing to the tool from my device...hopefully no more laptops around here

Will this work for the iphone too? or just android phones?
Or am I completely off base on what youre trying to accomplish?

haha...right no just android phones...i jumped ship from apple cause i hate their view on devs...what u see here is the emulator im running on my laptop at work...however it already is ported to my phone and all features are working as expected....now just have to add the back-end functionality to it to work in sync with the BT tool and jb3

they wouldnt take half if you just invented it and sold it to them for full amount! Then have a royalties clause in there for a % of each app sale.

pretty sure apples app guideline prevent any of that from happening....

forgive my ignorance but...
what if i were to jailbreak my iphone...
could you then develop a similar app to run for jailbreak iphones?

or would you still have to go through apple to get this app on the iphone?

why would they? they are not going to want someone else coming out on the market with a product that they themselves can make money from.

they took mad money from me before for the apps i wrote...just dont wanna deal with it anymore...if the demand is there to write one i will do it but must likely charge more to compensate

yea hope it does as well...they were just some quick location apps...apple took them all down now since u have to have an active dev account to host...however i did write chubbs collector car ipad app for them...that should be on there...

thats not gonna be too true very soon...wait till 3.0 (gingerbread) drops....thats gonna be a whole new ball game....and as far as hardware goes....there are a few phones out that will outperform an iphone 4 and its "amazing processor" and "retina display"....take for example my samsung fascinate...super AMOLED with the 1ghz hummingbird processor....currently overclocked and decimating apples a4...which reminds me, does anyone know who makes the a4?.....its not apple....its SAMSUNG
