Can somebody tell me what I should be paying for a 335i?
I'm looking to lease for 36 months for 12k miles a year, a 335i with the following options:
either jet black or alpine white or a metallic black leather interior- black or beige heated front seats bluetooth steptronic the following options are nice to have but I can live without them navigation M package park distance control ipod harmon kardon I can't get the monthly payment below 600 from any of the dealers I have been quoted. If there is a NYC/NJ BMW dealer reading this and can accommodate me, I will do the paperwork tomorrow (Sunday 9.26) or next week at the latest. Can anyone work the numbers to fit? Thanks |

You need to give us more detail, are you looking for a sedan, coupe or vert? You also need to narrow down your options. There is no "work the numbers to fit" with a lease you can either afford it or you can't. At least that's how I look at it. If you get the minimal options (premium package and auto trans) you're looking at an msrp of $45,500 and invoice of $42K (this is for a sedan)
residual is 61% MF is .00145 If you went with a very low optioned car like this and paid $750 over invoice your payment would be $540/month before tax (don't know how tax works in NY) The problem is you have a huge range of options on your list. if you add nav, harmon and ipod you're up to $573 before tax add m sport and you're at $613 before tax. So what cars have dealers be quoting you on? Because as i showed here the options make a big difference. |

I just pulled the trigger on a 335i Sedan in DC. MSRP was $52,575 (sport, premium, nav, and extras), sale price was $48,760 (under invoice, but not by much).
Lease with max MSD's landed on $560/mo at 10k miles, cash due at signing covered tax, tags along with sd's and first month's payment. .00096 money factor after the rebate with the above price but $725 added for lease acq fee. I'm going to finance it though, 0.9% is like free money. Lease can't really compare, especially after that acquisition fee. Good luck in your search! |
