Oil change schedule changed???
So I called BMW Seattle today to schedule an oil change for my 09 328 since it's been a year but I didn't have the requisite mileage (a little over 9K only). The kind lady said that BMW NA issued a bulletin starting 9/1/2010 that service can only be done if
1) Service indicator light comes on 2) It's been over a year since the last oil change and the vehicle as been driven less than 6000 miles. #2 is bullshit I say. If it's less than 6K miles, why in the world would you change the oil? I think it should really be "Over a year and driven at least 6K" do you guys agree? |

Yep, they've changed it. Bunch of BS, but what can you do about it?
