I have an '11 335d sedan. Anyone sporting this wheel in the rear on a stock suspension on a new sedan? I am looking for someone that has put these rims on their car because I can't seem to get a straight answer out of the people that sell this rim.

I talked to peeps at EAS, Mod Bargin as well as Charles at VMR and I received a mixed bag of answers, not sure what I should I do.

EAS said this set up just can't be done up front or in the rear unless I roll fenders because the LCI sedan has a wider track.

Now Mod Bargin said that 10" in the rear can be done, but 9.5" up front cannot. They said 19x8.5 up front and 19x10" rear would be a perfect set up, no moding required, no rubbing.

Charles said 19x10" rear fitment could be done but it might be tight due to the wider track on the LCI sedan and there might be some rubbing. However, he said 19x9.5 up front can absolutely be done.

I simply want the widest 19" rim up front and in the rear on a stock suspension without having to add spacers or roll fenders. I could certainly play it safe and just buy 19x8.5 fronts and 19x9.5 rears, but I would like to get that extra width if I can.

My apologies as I did misread the year of your car. The recommended and "safe" setup on a 2011 LCI E90 for the VMR VB3 CSL is the 19x8.5 ET40 with a 235/35/19 in the front and a 19x9.5 ET45 with a 265/30/19 in the rear. If you're looking to go "wider" for a more aggressive stance, then you will definitely have to run stretched tires and have the possibility of rolling your rear fenders on the 19x10 (which has definitely been done). You will be able to fit the 19x9.5 ET33 with a 235/35/19 in the front and the 19x10 ET38 with a 255/30/19 in the rear with a fender roll. If you do not want to roll your fenders then the next best option for you is the 19x9.5 ET33 with a 255/30/19 in the rear for a more aggressive stance. Hope that clears everything up for you. On an LCI we do CS7 or SF-71 in 19x8.5 ET35 and 19x9.5 ET 35, is very aggressive, and it fits without rolling the fenders using very wide ADVAN 235/35/19 and 265/30/19 tires. If you are looking for the most aggressive setup on a stock E90 LCI those are the offsets that we recommend.

Here is a picture to give you an idea. Keep in mind this vehicle is lowered as well.

On my 2006 E90, I run 8.5 +35 up front and 9.5 +28 and I rub a little on the drivers side under load. It doesn't look like a tight fit, but it is.

Danny, FWIW it looks like a tight fit from where I sit. Is your car lowered? I assume they rub because of the very aggresive offset.

Matt, the et35's in that wheel on that car look very good both up front and in the back.

My car is lowered on H&R Sport springs.

What type of fitment do you have in 18' in that wheel setup?

As I mentioned to you over email, we can try to work out the fitment you want, but once you start going larger and larger in the width of the wheel, or a more aggressive offset, the more you have a chance to have rubbing issues.

The absolute safe set to go with, as Charles @ VMR mentioned will be 19x8.5" ET35 up front and 19x9.5" ET45 in the rear. Once you go with larger or more aggressive fitments, the smaller your tire will need to be to make it work.

Ill go ahead and clear this up for you.

LCI Sedan's have identical front fitments as Pre-LCI's. The rear fitment is the tricky one, which has the wider track. This means the vehicle needs a slightly more conservative fitment.

9.5" +33 fronts can work with a 235/35/19 tire with some slight camber if the vehicle is lowered.

10" +38 rears can work with some fender rolling and a 255/30/19 tire for less required fender work.

For a "direct bolt-on" fitment, which does not require ANY work, then 8.5 +40 front and 9.5 +45 is recommended.

Charles I appreciate the response here and photos... Everything was clear until you posted the photos with a different fitment.

I like the looks of the fitment of the car in the photos you posted but my question is, will this same fitment work on my car without modification? The car in the pic is clearly lowered so I do not see clearance being an issue w/stock suspension. The fitment you suggested that would be ideal for my car does not sound anymore agressive than stock which is the look I am trying change.
