One of my best buddies does this. He enjoys it but favors the Kayak.

Me and a buddy frequently go on a Kayak and go fishing through the mangroves and back channels. From snook, tarpon, jacks, to bull sharks; It's AMAZING what kind of wildlife/fish is back there.

P.S. - You don't have to go far at all for the big one! We do snook, tarpon (although never successfully landed), red drum, black drum, mackerel, black tips, bonnet heads, trout, snapper, PIN FISH AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH! And just about anything out there!

Oops, maybe you're located in Canada. Nevermind.

Interesting set up you have there, do you have water flowing through the cooler? What is the reason for that?

i made a livewell out of the cooler to keep live bait inside. using livebait in the summer is one of the most productive way to catch rockfishes here in the bay.

Looks like fun. Whatever it takes to catch more fish is a good thing. Here's to keeping your rod wet!!

That is what I thought you did, nice setup on that, are you redirecting the flow form the jet some how?

nah

i have a pump in the water pumping up water into the cooler thru the tube, and have 2 drain holes on each side under the handle. I plug in the pump as soon as i leave the ramp, and the battery usually last one whole trip.
