Coming to Boston / Foxboro
Hey Folks,
I'm heading out your way the weekend of October 30th to see the Patriots play the Vikings. Just looking for your input on where to stay and places to go out for dinner / night life etc... So the plan is to fly into Boston on the 30th. Stay downtown that night then head out to Foxboro on Sunday and crash somewhere in that area. Fly out on the Monday. With it being halloween weekend I'm sure the parties will be happening. Any input would greatly be appreciated. Thanks |

I live/grew up 5 minutes from the stadium.
Unfortunately, no night life there at all! Recommend going on Hotwire and getting the 3.5 star hotel in Boston (back Bay) for $120 after all taxes. Great hotel choices. Also, there are many places to go out in Boston depending on what you like. |

Thanks for the info. So I guess the best bet is to drive down to Foxboro for the day and then head back to Boston after the game for the night life.
Does Boston have a centalized entertainment area or is it all spread out? For nightlife I'm looking for bar type places, hip hop rnb, top 40 etc... Even a lounge type place would be cool. Any good halloween parties going on? |

Take the train to the game. It's cheap and you get as f*cked up as you like.

use the tool and look for Boston Trip and you should be able to find some things to do when you're here. I remembered writing up something on here.
