Question BMW Performance Strips ? Install or How to on this?

Hey guys i am looking to get rid of the OEM silver trim that goes around our windows on the car and replace it with the flat black " performance stripes" . Is there a how to on this anywheere on the forums or is it pretty basic? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

The performance stripes are the decals only in the picture. The trim pieces are metal (aluminum) and need to be painted or vinyl covered.

you can buy the black window surround from bmw but it costs a fortune

I did buy the set from e-bay-China. Mine were badly scratched and the new one's are beautifull. Experience with China stuff doesn't help but as I said before, they look amazing and I had no choice.

Those covers are for the door pillars - and while they look nice to replace scratched stockers - he's looking to replace the bright aluminum trim around the windows with black version.

You have (2) choices with that respect, cover with 3M vinyl, or buy the factory shadowline trim for +$700
