Got a New Mod-What do you think?

It's called the "Sandwiched Mod" and anyone can do it.
Just have a Van run into the back of you while you're stopped behind a Tahoe.

All I heard was screaching and then crash-crash.
From the looks of it, I'll need a new front/rear bumper and hood.
I had to pry up the hood because it was locked closed. I adjusted the pieces so I can at least pop the hood if needed.
I'd like a CF hood but I don't know how the process works.
I guess I'll find out though.

My 3 year old daughter was in the car with me also but she's fine. That 5 point seat belt that she has works pretty well. My neck got the worst of it.

Bummer Mr. 5! Very sorry to see this but glad no one was hurt! It's more of a pain in the ass than anything especially given that it wasn't your fault. At least you get to look forward to new parts and no front end dings for a while again!

His daughter's car seat had the five point seatbelt not the drivers seat!!! Glad everything was okay with you and your daughter. I think this thread needs to be moved to another section as this has nothing to do with forced induction!! Lol

So did anything happen to the tahoe? Are you going to be held responsible for that one?

glad everyone was okay, but you can get the CF hood. Just take your car to a bodyshop they'll write up a quote and insurance will either write you the check or to the shop. Then you tell the shop to order the CF for you. Its win win situation for you... you get the CF hood and a freshly painted front bumper, goodbye rock chips!

Basically mr 5 has to claim the insurance from the car that rear ended him. Nowthw car that mr 5 rear ended will have to claim it through mr 5 insurance. At the end both mr 5 and the car in the front which mr hit will insurance company will hit up the tahoe insurance

From my understanding, the rear party is responsible for everything no matter what. I was stopped. The collision from the car behind me resulted in me hitting the car in front. But, I'm not sure in all states but from my understanding, even if I hit the car in front and then the car in back hit me, he is still responsible for all the cars in front of him.
