Procede Launch Control with 335XI automatic

Today was the first time I used the Procede's launch control with my 335xi automatic. I used to just brake boost to around 2,500 and let it rip.

The launch control takes all the guess work out but how does anyone keep the tires planted? My last race was against a Corvette. My car launched so hard that the tires spun hard. I had to get off the gas - and jump on it again. I took the win right at the very end but it would have been a big kill if I cut a 1.7 like I did earlier in the morning.

Is there a way to turn it down just a little more? Is launch control adjustable?

Great feature. I can't imagine what it would be like with REALLY sticky tires.

Not currently based on my understanding when I inquired about that feature and ability to adjust RPM revs....

You took a Corvette at the strip? What other mods did you have?

It was a 1987 running low 13's. If it was anything newer, losing the jump, I would have never caught up. He only trapped 103 Mph

I had dtc completely off... (which is required for Launch Control) Before I used to get a little bark. It did mist for a short period but it seemed pretty dry.

It would be nice to dial in rev between 1500-2500 or something like that.

There were two 4rings there. The new S4 ran 13.3 for the best that I seen and last year was doing 14.3'ish. I didn't get to see what they had done to them (if anything) and what kind of trans.

They are pretty sticky Good Years - but they are all seasons.
Have you tried Launch Control? I was only running 15.8 psi with a race gas blend.

Yesterday was a Test and Tune day. I guess I should have tried my old method to see how it hooked up. I was just too psyched to see a 1.7 60' where 1.8 was my previous best.

It could just be that it was mid 40's and misted a couple hours earlier. I will be heading back again soon to try and work out the kinks. I need to get on a dyno to see where power falls off now for the manual shift points (I do at least third gear) with the latest firmware / map combo and my mod (intercooler).
