HRE 540 on a 2011 328i
Found a good deal (I think) on some HRE 540 wheels.
(2) 20 x 8.5 +32 (2) 20 x 10.5 +44 5x120 ![]() ![]() Will these babies fit a 2011 328i Cabriolet? What tire sizes would you suggest? Car is a daily driver. |

42mm LESS clearance on the strut side, and the outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 22mm...i dont think you'd clear the strut..and if you use spacers then ud have to roll fenders...still dont know if you are gonna clear that strut

and with that 10.5 20 inch rim, and your cabriolet being heavy as it is, you'l be looking at 8ish 0-60 or even more...

Ok wow.. The OEM wheels on the car are the 17x8s all around with 225/45/17. I wasn't sure of the offset so I didnt put it in the calculator myself..

Yeah the stock offsets on the 17 by 8 wheel are 34et. Anyways even if you fit em they would be an EXTREME performance killer.

BTW, just out of curiosity, did you switch from an 07' E93 335 to an 11' E93 328? If so, what made you switch from a 335 to a 328? (Just asking cause I've been wanting to switch to a 335 for a long time but have doubts) Thanks

Front is good. The rear might hit the strut side.

I'm confused to why you think they would ruin his performance. If he puts low profile non-runflat tires, his rolling diameter will be roughly the same and will be much lighter than stock per wheel.
