Average whp/tq...? check in
Hey guys, wondering what the average whp/tq for a mid bolt on car..
n54s that have these mods: - DCI of some sort - downpipes - jb3 or procede v4 or equivalent (on a map that supports pump gas, dps, and is somewhat aggressive (basically a dd map that you would use for mild bolt ons) - 91-93 octane - stock exhaust (although I think a catback on these cars only adds maybe 5-8whp) |

I would do fmic instead of downpipes. You don't want to run the risk of heat soaking your engine. With those, you mightt be looking at, conservatively, 50whp and 60trq. Just an estimate though. Need other things like a baseline dyno, but this is as rough as I can give.

Probably around 300 rwhp on a DD map and 330-350 on higher setting. All cars are different, all dyno's are different, dyno's are only a good comparison tool so it would be to your advantage to get a baseline then run the car after mods.

Depends on the tune.
With my completely stock (drop-in filter only) setup and a Stage 1 GIAC, I gained just over 50rwhp/50rwtq. Having some mods with a general tune like a GIAC would get you another 20-30rwhp. A different tune with those mods running higher boost...380rwhp...Dynojet I am assuming. And of course, approximate...each dyno varies slightly. Just a guess though..you won't know until you do it and get the dynos.
