diverter valves w/ Procede V4
So I installed Procede today, it is pretty Effing sweet. Took it to an abandond service road and started with the 3rd gear pulls, everything was awesome, pulls were getting stronger and stronger, had the laptop in the car checking out what it was doing, pulled back on to the highway, got on it and at about 4k WOT it just stopped, and it sounded like my diverter valves gave way. Any one know of problems with these guys? I know they have a plastic diaphram in them, but i have heard of alot of people talk about how they run 18+ lbs of boost and they hold up. it feels like a boost leak like when my buddies charge pipe would blow off. I checked all the connections, everything was sat. Also, i put it in valet mode. and ran it WOT and it was all good.

A Stett CP + Forge DV's is always a good idea if you are running more than 8 psi (stock). Sounds like your stock DV's might not be holding the boost, depending on how old your car is and how many miles it was run tuned, they may be wearing out.

yeah its a 2007, I should also point out that the SES light is coming on too after it happens and blinks twice, which i guess, according to vishnu, means over boost. I didnt mess with the time delay or anything, and the valet mode isnt triggered.

how do you know the DVs went out? Then if they went out, how would they be ok on valet?

eh, maybe not total fail, but just not holding, However now looking at the built in boost gauge feature, it looks like im hiting 18psi when im set for 16psi. not sure how accurate the gauge is. so im hitting the over boost, and its not auto tuning the settings i guess fast enough. maybe its the way its learning? The thing is I did like 5-6 runs 0 - 130+mph and it was fine, but right after that i pulled onto the highway and it failed. i was reading on the vishnu forums about PID, pretty deep stuff, but i think i got the jist of it, im going to play with some settings, drop the boost and see whats up.

pressure test your car up to 20psi, hell 25psi of shop air. If something is leaking, you'll know. Spray ALL connections and other possible leak areas with soapy water and no leak will be able to hide.
speculation at what is leaking is just that....speculation.

yeah, im off the leak idea. i changed the user settings so that its running Map 1 with 10psi max boost, I lowered the Waste gate % to 40 (based on the vishnu PID thread, if i understood that correctly someone please chime in if im wrong) and based on the gauge its still getting up to 17-18 psi when the max user boost is set at 10. so i think its a setting.
