Extend BMW warranty??

Not sure if this is the right section...
Just had the quote come through on my 320d to extent the warranty its a 2005 55 plate AUC car
Would you recommend paying £427 for another year?

Forgot to add that the car has just under 14k miles on it, not that makes a difference!
Is it trasferrable to another owner say if I sold the car??
How many years do they allow you to extwnd it for?
Is the ermergency cover worth keeping on?

Wouldn't worry about the emergency cover, the standard package includes recovery to local BMW dealer. The upgraded package just adds hotel if you are away from home and onward travel etc. Also look at including some level of excess if you want to lower the quote. Mine is £32 per month with 100 excess.

Drop the emergency cover as it overpriced compared to AA / RAC

If you allow a modest excess and pay for a yr in advance costs will reduce. If you have idrive make sure you get comprehensive cover.

Well worth the money

I've got it, safe in the knowledge that if anything significant goes i'm covered.

The odd bits won't be covered, but for £346 a year on an fairly expensive car, it's a no brainer.

And, 14k on a 5 year old diesel!! That car needs a good thrashing.

For me the international breakdown cover is worth it. Depends if you are driving only locally and not going abroad.

I have extended warranty.

Google bmw warranty, there is a website dedicated to this. You should get a letter from BMW when your warranry is expiring giving you a pin code, then you can go on and try the various options to get costs. Also details there if what is covered.
