Avant Garde M310 vs Alufelgen SF-71

I am trying to see the difference between these 2 brands of wheels other than the design. I think they both look similar and look nice on e90. I can see that both are LP cast and am assuming the quality should be the same. M310 goes for $900 at ModBagain, but I am not sure who has the best price for Sf-71s.

Other than the design of the wheels can someone tell me what other differences are between the 2? It will greatly help me decide which set to get!

Thanks.

The Avant Garde M310 wheels are low pressure cast, increasing the quality and decreasing the weight when compared to gravity cast wheels. They are also stronger with a higher load rating (815kg/1835lb) than most other low pressure cast wheels on the market today. The two wheels are entirely different in terms of design. The Avant Garde M310 is an HRE P40 replica style where where as the other is a CSL style. It really comes down to which look you like the best. I'll shoot you over a PM with more details. In the meantime here are a few pics for you to check out!

@Alan:
Thanks for the reply and the information. As JoeyBananaz18 points out you might be confusing SF-71 with CS7. The latter is CSL replica and the former is closer in design with M310. Please shoot me a PM with the best price you can offer. It looks like your website's price is 899 + shipping. Thanks!

@JoeyBananaz18:
I couldn't help but crack up at what you drive Please don't take this the wrong way. I used to live in NYC area and used to "drive" metrocard as well!

hahaha let me tell you, with the way these fares are going, it feels like i got some really crappy financing. The express bus going into the city from queens is $5.50 each way. thats $11 a day/ $55 a week ($45 if i og with the unlimited card)..... and last week the city just approved another increase. its nuts.

Holy smokes We are kind of going off topic but still that is boat load of money! I assume the bus fare + the metrocard? One of the reasons I moved away from the city although Seattle has its own problems...

They are different products and although similar, very different designs as well. The SF-71 is low-pressure cast, very light weight and very strong. The wheels are rated at 690kg which is the recommended load rating for BMW. Our front SF-71 weights only 23.8lbs in 19x8.5" which is several pounds lighter than any wheel in its category. There are five other companies that make the HRE P40 replicas. The SF-71 design is concave with a very pronounced concavity in both the front and rear while the HRE P40 reps are convex with a deep center.

Notice the aggressive stance, deep concavity and perfect fitment:

The SF-71 is an original design by ALUFELGEN. ALUFELGEN is an established company with a proven track record. Our product reputation speaks for itself and our quality surpasses any expectations.

Feel free to PM if you have any questions.

Thanks all for the response! I had a mistake in my original post. I said "I am sure who has the best price for Sf-71s", but in fact I meant to say "I am NOT sure...".

One thing that isn't clear is that if M310 requires any hub rings. I am assuming SF-71s don't since CS7s don't. Please correct me if I am wrong

Thanks.

The Avant Garde M310 are hub centric with a 72.56 center bore and will not require the use of hub centric rings.
