e90 Coolant Fan Failure?
Does anyone know if there is a recall around Coolant Fan Failure?
I've just had this fan die in my e90 2006 330i, which the independent shop has said appears to have inexplicably failed for no reason. Any thoughts around this? Thanks! -Roman |

I visit this board a lot and this is the first time I heard about this problem. So probably just a faulty fan. S*it happens.

If no codes are being thrown use Chevron Techron fuel injector cleaner (concentrate). It solves rpm fluctuating upon cold start-up. Also, for most BMW problems start off by scanning your car with the Peake Research Tool. It contains the actual BMW codes. If you want to register a newly installed battery for free (just buy a $10 cable) and google/download BMWLogger

Just saw you post that your E90 coolant fan died? How did you diagnosed it? or how did you come to know that it died? Can you kindly provide some information on this (send me pm if you prefer). Thanks.
