products for soft-top care
Not really E9x related, but a general detailing question.
My dad picked up a CPO Z4 roadster last week as a fun weekend car. (I'll post some pics this spring once it's detailed and waxed -- to damn cold out right now) What products should he use to clean and protect the canvas top? Is Zaino wash fine for cleaning? What sealant/protectant should be applied, and how often?

Oh hey
![]() Raggtopp products are pretty highly regarded for soft top cleaning and protecting. It's pretty much all I've ever used, and seems to be what most Autopians use. http://www.autogeek.net/racotopcakit.html Remember to let the top dry for at least 24 hours after cleaning before applying the protectant. Using the protectant on a damp top (even if you can't feel the dampness) will just trap moisture. |
