Opinions on Bimmian V2 LED interior kits
I'm about to buy the Bimmian V2 LED kit and was wondering if anyone had these and had comments on them. I currently have LEDs fitted into my main front dome lights on my 07 E92. The problem with these is that they turn off after 4-5 seconds after turning them on.
Anyone know of these V2s create this problem as well?

i had a set of LED's from them a year ago. not sure what version they were because i returned them right after i installed them because they messed up everything light in car.
i would stay away from them to be honest. E90s came out over 4 years ago and if they were still selling products as of this january that were bad i would really doubt they fixed anything. and if they did its about time but they lost a customer in the process so w/e |

Thus far, we've experienced no issues with the V2 kit and the dome lights turning off. The only slight issue is that a few festoon bulb applications require the OEM metal prongs to bend slightly (about 1-2mm)..not a big deal at all. Feel free to contact me directly if you had any other questions. |

Sorry. I wouldn't go back to those lights, although I hear the "ultimate" kit addresses the lights constanting going off on me, I'm not willing to pay a premium for it. JLevi has some EXCELLENT customer service and other products otherwise, do not get me wrong!! I would get the LED Ultimate lighting kit from Derrick @ E92-lighting FTW. I have been running that kit FLAWLESSLY for months now, and it's plenty bright! (Thanks Derrick!).

I had a kit from jlevisw and it didnt work if the car was on.
They told me that there was not enough draw on the system and sent me diffrent bulbs for the trunk and glove box. Only problem was that they were cheap filament bulbs so out of principle I returned the whole kit.

to bypass the issue of the map and dome lights turning off you would need to get canbus error free leds in 168/194/T10, thats the only way right now to trick the OBC into thinking the correct wattage bulbs are in place.

Just to be clear guys, the first V2 kits did have those problems with some E92s as they did not draw enough power.
The current V2 versions do not exhibit that issue and are fully functional. |
