Buying first bmw 328i What to expect from dealer?

Apologize for being a newby. Buying my first BMW 328i in NYC area.
What can I bargain for? $1000 under MSRB or $1500 over invoice?
Your reply is appreciated, will pay cash for the car. Sounds like a hugh waiting list anyway.

Depends on market conditions in your area and if you're willing to go out of state,would you do an ED or PCD or just a normal delivery.Is it in their inventory or will it be ordered? Do you have a trade ? Is it a Lease,the trade or new car ?
