Thanks, but I'm not looking to spend that much, just to get a cone filter in there.

i think the only luck u will have is if u find a Europe member that installed a diff intake and has his old one. Other than that no one really has one in the US well at least no one that will probably sell it lol. I think only a few people actually went and bought them from ecs.

Guess I got lucky! Traded my standard intake for a Euro version even up with a member from Singapore. He needed back half of mine for a GM Perf Intake he bought - I wanted the Euro. Worked out great for both of us

So the euro airbox will fit the US stock air tracks? Or did you have to get the whole intake, not just the airbox?

The Performance Intake does nothing as in performance in my opinion. I have the US version and there is no sound difference nor does it feel different when accelerating other then the lag from stop to start seems to have gone. This may be my imagination though as I was hoping it would do something. It does look good under the hood though I must say but not worth the price tag even when buying used.

Good luck OP!!!

At least on my 09' 328ix the Euro airbox bolted right up to where the factory airbox was. Upper Intake Snorkel was perfect fit to airbox as was the duct to the throttle body. You have to use the U.S. version of MAF Sensor though - the Euro MAF is different.

Don't be fooled by the CF Upper Intake Snorkel in my pics, that is NOT the GM Performance snorkel, it is original snorkel covered in CF so it is exactly same as what was there from factory as far as outlet to airbox details.

FYI, the GM Performance Upper Snorkel that comes with GM Performance Airbox will NOT fit the Euro Airbox - opening at airbox end is much bigger and made to fit performance airlid only.

Here's some pics of it installed:

Thank you very much for the pics. Did you feel any power gain?

Hard to tell from the pics, but is there a rubber gasket in the cover to provide a good seal?
