I'm getting a set of the VMR V701s soon in 18 inch. I am currently running on OEM RFTs. Will these wheels securely fit on the RFTs. I'd rather not have to go and buy a new set of tires especially since I just had these RFTs replaced.

I tried searching, with little results. With 18 inch wheels, can I go with a 245/275 set up? Also, for anyone else who is running 18 inch wheels, what is an ideal offset for me to run. Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks guys.

We usually recommend

E9X (non M)
- 18"x8.5" ET35mm Front 235/40/18
- 18"x9.5" ET33mm Rear 265/35/18

But I think 245/275 should be fine. I would have to double check and get back to you on this one. Thanks

I would suggest a THICK tire in the front, mainly because they will dent. They are good wheels but dent easily from my experience.

The VMR V701 is a beautiful wheel design and the recommended setup that would work perfectly with your BMW E92 328i is the 18x8.5 ET35 in the front and 18x9.5 ET33 in the rear. The recommended tire size is 235/40/18 in the front and 265/35/18 in the rear. You may be able to fit the 245 and 275 combo but it is going to be a tight fit and you may have to roll your fenders to get it to work properly. You can reuse your existing RFT tires and TPMS sensors from your OEM wheels and simply transfer them over. I'll shoot you over a PM with more details!

That fitment works... but beware of rubbing. Personally, I would also lower the car because 245/275 will raise the height of the car by around 3-5mm.

Like others have already stated, tire fitment will work for your car but is a bit on the aggressive side so it depends if you are okay with tires rubbing against your fenders or not when your steering is in full lock.

We have V701s in stock and ready to ship. And when I say in stock, I mean they are physically at our facility:

I'm not exactly sure, but I heard the OEM RFT's for the staggered E92 are 18x8 in the front and 18x8.5 in the rear. If the wheels are 18x9.5 in the rear, will they still fit or will I need to stretch the tire?

So I have my mind set on these wheels. I haven't yet decided who to get them from, but my dilemma now is: Matte Black or Gunmetal on Alpine White. I'm not sure if Matte Black will be too dark. I plan on getting a white time attack on whichever wheel I get so please take that into consideration. Will the white TA ring look better with matte black or gunmetal on a AW e92? Thanks guys.

I personally feel that the Matte Black with a white time attack stripe will look best on Alpine White. The stripe on a gunmetal wheel will look odd.
