E92 lci finisher rods removal?
I've searched the forum but all I could find were instructions on how to remove the finisher rods on E90s. Does anyone know whether the finisher rods on the e92 lci non msport bumper are removed the same way? Im planning to paint them black.
Heres a pic for reference:

It appears from online parts guides that the finisher rod on your car goes on the same as the E90 (from the front). Here's an image (part #3 in the schematic):

Pull. Out and downward if I remember correctly. Put tape on anything they may hit if they go flying off. I got a little scratch pulling mine off.

I hadn't really paid attention to the 2011 design - so now all E92's get the finisher rods with regular front, and only delete with MSport bumper?
Hell, most people that have E90's with them either want them gone or paint them... Mebbe BMW should send out a survey to BMW owners to see likes/dislikes, or possibly persuse the myriad of forums to see what customers like/dislike instead of letting some artsy-fartsy designer do what he thinks is right. Glad my 09 E92 doesn't have them

It looks 200% better now. I still can't figure out why BMW would put them on the E92 for its update when they took them OFF the e46 for its update!
They were the whole reason I ended up with the M-sport package this time.

Although I dont like the rods, that looks way better. M sport, however, seems to be in your near future perhaps.

I might be the odd ball out, but I really like the paint-match WHITE.
But I get'it I'm redneck. I'll be the first to admit. Still, I liked it white better. It's your car though. If you're happy, you're happy. Congrats on the modification |

i paid 100, i know it sounds kind of expensive for two pieces of trim but the quality was really good. U can probably find a place for cheaper or DIY with plastic dip
