Base stereos Speakers Pop or Crack

So I know that the base stereo in my 2010 328i has 6 speakers comparied to my previous 335i coupe with 13 speakers. I noticed that the stereo speakers pop or crack is at a volume that is set a bit high.

Does anyone know if this is normal or if there is a fix for this?

Could be blown. Could be the music. its a crap stereo system.

I had the rear deck speaker on my e90 blow I used weather stripping to seal them again and they been working very well for awhile now

they are horrendous, and probably have nothing wrong with them, that's just how they sound

+1, the 6 speaker system is a poor excuse of a setup for a car in this price range. It used the head as the amp so the sound gets distorted quickly. The 10 speaker setup that used to be standard is perfectly acceptable, as is the 13 speaker HK. Damn cost cutting.

I guess I have to live with the stereo and not turn up the music as loud as I was able to on my 2008 E92 335i coupe. Besides that little nit pick, I LOVE MY 328i!! :-)
