M3 spoiler question

Just got my m3 spoiler in mail today. My question does the spoiler has to flexed to fit on my 2007 e90 sedan?

If you ordered the e90 M3 spoiler...it won't need to flex at all to fit perfectly.

If you ordered the e92 M3 spoiler for your e90...you may have a problem.

Mine was an OEM from Tischer...no flex. Just sit it where you want it...have a buddy hold it down...and pull the tape.

Mine had to be flexed a bit, not much but it wasn't a perfect fit. I brought it to a good shop and they mounted it perfectly but I know what you mean.

Mine's isn't a 2007, but the M3 Spoiler I ordered did not require any flex.

the e90 spoiler fits e90s

e92 fits e92s

You do need to flex the spoiler when you install it, this is normal.

Yeah, I'm happy with it. I doesn't line up flush all the way across. In other words, the edges it curves up just a little....and I mean very little. But I think it looks fine I think..

Thanks everyone for your input. I install spoiler today and had to flex it slightly. I heard OEM dealer or factory install spoilers are 1/4 inch away from end of trunk lid. So I decided to install it to those specs. Spoiler needed very slight flex at ends but it wasn't a big deal. Now if you decide to install flush to the end of the trunk lid I found you have to flex the s!@# out of it. So best bet 1/4 inch inch!!

P.s pics to follow!!!
