Calipers Rusting on my e92 335i
My brake calipers are starting to rust on my e92 335i... I'm very dissapointed, it doesn't look good at all. Makes it look like a very very old car and abused. Can this be taken care of under warranty??

G2 caliper paint
I got it in black and it's easily one of the best mods I have done to my car. Just use a coarse wire brush attachment for a drill to knock off the surface rust/give it some tooth to bite into. I wish the dealer hadn't scraped some of mine off during my last brake pad swap though ![]()

It's possible it's just surface rust created by brake dust bonded to the calipers. Try this. If you can take a wired brush to it and clean off some of it and underneath it's rust free and same color as the rest of the caliper, then you can probably attach a wire brush to a rotary tool and get the majority of that stuff off.
