Hi, as the title says, I am interested in getting a drop in air filter. Not sure of the benefits, would it make a prettier sound?

no sound diff really for a drop in. But u do save the hassle of buying filters since you can just clean the drop in

that sucks. I was thinking of the AFE CAI, but I heard you lose torque for sound. So, that really turned me off.. lol

the only way you're going to get noticeable sound is from an aftermarket intake period. they all get pretty loud at 3k+ rpm but don't expect anything similar from a dropin
