Just to be clear, so you ordered a car that has already been built, and now you're waiting for it to cross the Atlantic?

Edit: Provided that it was built in December, a month to 6 weeks is about right for the delivery time. That's counting from when the car is sitting at port waiting for a ship, to travelling to Canada, unloading at the VPC and whatever they do there, then train to the local dealer, etc...

It sounds like you ordered a car that was produced in December, and will be shipping in January schedules to arrive in early February. Either your order was a common enough spec that they happened to have one ready, or someone with the same order can canceled and you got that car. If the car *is* produced you need to get the VIN, once you have the VIN go here:
If you have the VIN you can go here: http://www.2wglobal.com/www/wep/index.jsp click customer center/tracking information/auto cargo and then enter your VIN: once the car is on a ship (or close to it), you will get a screen showing the ship and the ships itinerary. You can there go here: http://www.aislive.com/AISLivePortal...opDefault.aspx and sign up (it's free) and track the ship in coastal waters. When the ship enters the Atlantic it will turn on it's GPS, and you can track it here: http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/index.html |

Well, it could just be out of date info or the car isn't yet produced. If it is not yet produced it's going to be awhile for it arrives. Just let him know to get you the VIN asap.

That means your car was unloaded at Halifax on 1/27/07; so you should have it within the next few weeks. You can't really track it now without calling CN rail, you just have to wait for it to get on a train, arrive at Concord, then have the truck pick it up and drop it off at the dealer.
