New 3 Series Pricing?
So I was looking into building a car for a friend of mine..but since when did they have this huge price hike in the cars? The base E92 335's start at like 43k for the 335i and 45k for the 335xi; when did this even happen and why?

Um, there was a slight price increase October 1st of this year (around $500), but I don't know what else to say. Car prices just always seem go up every year. Got to keep up with inflation I guess.

From 2010 to 2011, there was a facelift and mechanical change for e92s and e93s. They now come with LED (white) DRL's, revised front and rear (rear with led lamps), and most importantly, the N55 engine. From N54 to N55, bmw switched to single turbo (in lieu of twin turbo) with twin scroll. (they now call it the Twinpower turbo) Cars run slightly slower (about 0.2-3) to 60mph with same 300/300 power and with better fuel efficiently (up 2mpg city and highway)
And of course, everytime they facelift, they charge more |
