Ever seen this with your Procede?

I will start by saying I have a call and a PM to Vishnu, so I am sure this will get figured out, but I wanted to see if anyone has seen this with their Procede.

I got my Procede V4 in the mail today and commenced installing it. I really didn't realize it was that easy. I had the install video on my Iphone right next to me, and took my sweet time... and it still only took about 20 minutes. Sweet.

Firmware is #22 with the associated 6MT map.

I went into the car and reset everything (via the command center). I then went for a test drive. Here's where it started getting messy.

Anytime I would give more than half throttle, or go above 8-9 psi, the car would start shuttering like crazy. A yellow CEL light pops up, and the car continues to run like sh*t. I shut the car off and turn it back on, and the car acts like nothing ever happened. Runs fine until about half throttle or 8 psi.

I hooked up my laptop and uploaded the latest firmware (#29) and map for 6MT and the same thing happened.

Any hunches? With the new map/FW, which setting is valet/bypass mode? I'd like to bypass the Procede until I can figure out what the issue is.. without having to take it out again.

I'm sure Vishnu will help me out, but in the meantime I'd appreciate your input.

Thanks guys.

Did you get the Procede directly from us? Either way, give us a call tomorow and we can help you troubleshoot. If you got it used, I'd recommend sending it back to us for free testing/udpating. In the meantime, you can run in valet mode by toggling over to map0. You can do this by double-clicking the DTC button. Or by holding the cruise control stalk down until the tach shows 0RPM. This must be done while the car is running

+ 1. Definitely take advantage of their free testing if you can't get this solved.

Shiv, thanks for the quick response. I'll give you a call sometime tomorrow. Against my better judgment I took a chance getting one used. Does this effect any sort of "warranty" vs. getting direct from you? What is involved in the testing/updating? If the unit is faulty are the necessary repairs considered updating?

I guess I'm trying to ask.... am I screwed and should I try to return it, or is this something that gets resolved regardless of where I got it from?

Not sure of the codes, I checked them before I cleared them, so I assume I can read them before I uninstall it?

I thought resetting everything In the command center all at one time was a bad thing?

I actually messed up the order of things a little bit... I reset everything after loading the new firmware didn't change anything. After resetting, the results were the same.

I'll be releasing that how-to along with firmware 130. The firmware update taking longer than expected to test. Lots of new stuff. Will be this week.

Purchasing anything used is somewhat of a risk. But we will still honor the warranty and fix whatever needs to be fixed. Just call us tomorrow and get an RMA number. Then just ship it to us and we will take care of whatever needs to be taken care of. No worries at all.

It's simple to disable............open the "User Adjustable Settings" under the "User Maps" tab in your Procede User Software and set the O2 Modifier to 100%. Adjusting the setting to less than 100%, will reduce the output range to the rear O2 sensors, which is needed to run catless DP's.

I overnighted the Procede to Shiv, they should get it first thing this morning. I'm really hoping it's an easy fix.

I've got lots of practice with the install, I'm down to 15 minutes now

Sounds like he's taking care of you - really good to see!! I just made the switch to PROcede and can't believe how superior the product is...

You'll enjoy it once it's running smooth.
