Will BBS RS-GTs sized 19x9.5" with 40 mm offset fit all around?

I love the look of the BBS RS-GTs in the darker color.

I really want to lessen the understeer in the 335i by putting the same size tires all around.

Has anyone used a 9.5" wide 19" rim with a 40 mm offset and a 265/30/19 tire all around?

The chart at the top of the Wheels and Tires Forum says in the front it will cause the car to have 25 mm less clearance on the strut side and will extend out 13 mm more on the outside.

In the back it will have 16 mm less clearance on the strut side and will extend out 10 mm more on the outside.

Think they will fit without rubbing?? Thanks for any help!

If you want the same size on all corners, you don't put the rear size on all for corners, you take the front size, or a little more and put those on all corners. Same with the rims, 8.5's all corners is ok, not 9.5 on all corners.

Also, try adjusting tire pressure for increasing oversteer, or add a rear swaybar.

I was able to squeeze 255/40/17s on 8.5" rims at all 4 corners on my E36 M3 sedan that came with 225/45/17 front and 245/40/17 rears. I wasn't sure how much extra room there is in the E90's wheel wells.

I'd hate to go smaller in the back, especially since I'd get the Vishnu 400+ lb/ft torque tune. Maybe I will have to stagger them after all I guess a sway bar may help balance the car, but even sized rubber has many advantages (you can rotate the tires, better braking, no need to buy a sway bar, etc.).

Thanks for chiming in.

Just stepping up to a 245 width in front (like most 19" aftermaket set-ups are) should help with understeer.

Do you have 245s on an 8.5" 19" rim? What is the offset you are using? Any rubbing? Thanks!

I have a 245 tire on my 19x8.5 in the front and don't rub.

I'm sure if you have a +35 or +40 front offset, you will be fine with 245's.
