JB3: I switched from map 7 to map 0 and I got a CEL

So yesterday, I was low on gas and I couldn't find 94 octane. I filled up 91 and switched from map 7 to map 0. After driving for a few minutes I received a check engine light. It wasn't limp mode. It's a permenent check engine light. I tried turning the car off and going back to map 7 and no luck. I checked the check control and it says everything was fine. My oil level was low, but that's it. What is the problem?

I don't think that has anything to do with your map switching or w.e it just happened at the time of , go scan your car and see what does it say

Need to get the car scanned to have any idea of what it could be.

Are you sure it's a CEL and not a SES? Cause you said that you just filled up, it might be that the gas cap is not tightened (that can cause a SES).

Ok, it was a CEL and it actually went away, very weird. I thinking the gas change had something to do with it.
