I'm actually taking it back to stock at the moment, will rethink the whole tuning thing later on (bit low on cash at the moment). Thx for helping install btw, this thing turned the car into a beast.

The first revision of Dinan software installed conflicted with the software upgrade BMW developed to counter HPFP failures, ie. priming fuel system on un-lock.

When the weather got cold the car would start but would be stuck in a software loop that caused the engine to rev up and down between 1000 and 1500 rpm on its own with no input from me. Car was undrivable so I had it towed back to BMW.

They contacted Dinan who had just released a software fix for this issue. Mine was the first one of about 3 customers with same issue to have new Dinan software installed. So far it has been flawless.

Towing, service by AutoWest and new software... all covered by Dinan warranty.

PS... drove an E92 M3 6sp over Christmas... now seriously thinking about trading mine
