Social Pre-Meet Sydney E9Xs.

SO a few of us are keen on a pre-meet before the proper meet/drive day with the 1ers on NOV 28. This meet will be a small get together and a more social event, to just relax and chat for a bit. Naturally, this is not to everybodys taste, but it provides us with an opportunity for a few of us to meet up beforehand.

This is NOT a substitute for the Drive Day on 28th November.

Please do not consider this as a way out of the larger meet. Call me ambitious, but I want to try and make Bimmerpost homepage with the 1 + 3 meet. So the more people on the 28th the better. The 28th will be a much more substantial meet.

THIS small meet is simply so we know some faces before the 28th.

Location:
Lumsdaine Drive, Freshwater.
It is the Carpark at McKillop Park Harbord.

You'll see a turnoff to an awesome lookout point with a view of the ocean.

Time:
5-6pm would be a good time to gather.

Here is a link that shows you the location of the carpark. It's around Dee Why so it shouldn't be too much of a drive for most of you.

Won't have my new camera by then though

(waiting on a canon 7D)

Sydney Olympic Park is kinda busy these days - in the lead up to the December supercar series...

Let's think of Nov 21 as more of a photo shoot day and Nov 28 as the drive day.

Sina do you remember that place we first stopped at for a photoshoot for our Akuna Bay run last year? Some place in Dee Why with an awesome view...I have no idea where it is. This would be an AWESOME place for a pre-meet.

TLM isn't 'classy' enough imo... but it is handy if anyone gets hungry lol.

Some of the business parks provide a good backdrop for photos, and on a Sunday should be pretty empty...

NOT TLM!!! LOL. I mean, it is alright, but certainly not for this crowd. I was thinking of something near Botany maybe?? With airport/industrial backgound?? Anybody know of any good free locations where we can meet and not be hassled or considered a security threat?
