Spacers and Tires Question
I plan to go back to my stock style 197 wheels, but I want to make those wheels sit more flush.
The specs are: 18x8 ET34F 18x8.5 ET37R What size spacers would you guys recommend for a flush (no/minimal rubbing) fitment? I also want to get slightly fatter tires from both front and rears, so what size tires should i get I tried using the calculator that's provided in the wheel/tires section, but I have no clue how to read it. |

I suggest 10mm front and 12mm rear, but I keep the OEM tire size on those wheels since they're only 8" and 8.5" wide.

I have the same questions as you. I have researched this (in this website) for a while and the most common answer I see is 5mm front (or no spacer at all in the front) and 15mm in the back. SOME guys say that 18mm in the back doesn't rub but others question that. 15mm in the back seems to be the most popular and I've seen pics and it looks great! I plan on having this set up.

Best bet, if you're unsure, is to measure up the distance while they're on the car w/ the tires you're using. That way you're absolutely sure that you're going with the proper size, but as said above between 10-15mm should be pretty good. I would just make sure to measure it up beforehand JUST in case.

10mm up front? From what I remember, the front was pretty flush without spacers, is 10mm practical? |

i used to run 12mm front, 18mm rear on stock 162 in my e90 when it was still having the stock ZSP suspension, it was perfect and no rubbing.
