If you want to be safe FBO+meth assuming it's flowing properly, go UT65 IC0 max boost 17psi.

-I would go UT-75 IC-0 & max boost 18psi with your setup.

He has probably the same level of mods I do, and I went 18.5 and timing was still maxed out. Without knowing what size the OP's nozzle is though, I can't recommend it wholeheartedly.

I'm completely stock and ran fine with 100 octane at UT-70 IC-0 for a few days when I had the tank full of it. With full mods he can go well beyond that, but if he's looking to be safe and have full power I would stay below 18psi.
Autotune tunes your car anyways, just have your boost limit at 18psi.

Honestly, set the UT to correspond with the boost level you desire. Autotune at that point can work its way down if conditions worsen but will not increase beyond your set limit.

The smartest thing would be to let autotuning do its thing on the respective maps. If you do get autotuned to crazy high boost, lower the max boost setting.

Map 1 (Leave it alone)
Map 2: Max BOOST "18" PSI Overboost Delay "Default Settings" Initial boost "65" (means 16.5 PSI) Ignition correct "10" (Always start conservative). 1st Gear Torque I run 50% could run 60-75 in summer or 100% if you like spinning first gear. At track on drag radials you can run 100. 2nd gear torque, "100" Upshit softening leave it where it is. (Default) Autotune aggression "2" (Default) When you get your failsafe in... let me know, you will want to change injection mode at that point. |

In procede program you want to enable Debug byte 7 in the channels its meth flow. When you test the meth flow, this value will read a number, somewhere between 12-18 I would gather. As meth is flowing you will find that number, say its 14... So now you have a 14 flow in "optimum conditions" (not under boost). When under boost its likely you might flow only 13.... So you set your minimum flow to 12 in "injection mode" Cliff notes: Open Procede Program Go to Logging channels Insert Debug Byte 7 so you can view it on the top right of the procede main screen. It should read 0 with no meth flow. Hotwire meth to flow into a CLEAN bucket or very large cup to test meth flow and find optimum number. (if the bucket is squeaky clean u can resuse meth) Take that optimum number and subtract 2. Insert that number into "injection mode" under user adjustable tab. The latest firmware/maps (firmware 31 if available to you) uses the following maps... Map 1 (is map 1) Map 2 (is map 2) Map 3 (N/A Mode) Map 4 (Progressive meth map) When on map 4, your blinkers will illuminate showing methanol is flowing. You can also datalog your car, and read the output of debug byte 7. If your on older firmware like 29 Map 1 is 1 Map 2 is 2 Map 3 is progressive Meth map, again blinkers will illuminate when methanol is flowing over "12" injection mode. Labonte failsafe has 3 wires.... Red Power black Ground Green (NOT USED) blue(To Procede). |
