Has anyone that ordered wheels recently from Alufelgen heard from them???

The wheels were suppose to arrive on the 15th, and that date has come and gone with no word from the manufacturer and even their distributers are in the dark.

This is the 2nd time the date has been pushed out and it looks like it's going to happen for a 3rd time; first it was 10/30, then 11/10, then 11/15 and now that deadline has come and gone. One would think a manufacturer would realize it is in their best interest to keep their customers apprised of the shipment status esp in light of their failure to deliver the product when orignially promised. Needless to say I not impressed by their communication and I am starting to get frustrated.

WOW I didn't realize.

What is a little disconcerting is that their website is down,,,, well it's up but it contains no content. My call yesterday went straight to an automated voicemail and the message made no mention of Alufelgen.

We received an update from the freight forward and the freighter is scheduled to arrive on the 25th. Initially it was on the 15th (never the 10th) and the freighter is delayed. Nothing we can do on our end

I know this is extremely frustrating but the wheels are en-route and almost here

Wow you said "almost here" as in to your shop at Alufelgen. Correct me if I am wrong but I am gathering that the wheels which should have been delivered to the customer yesterday are not even to your shop yet, and then will have to be shipped to the customer. All this during the holidays to boot, which will delay things even further I am sure!
Is this correct?

No. The holidays shouldn't cause any delays.

So what I said is correct, but you disagree with my assumption of another delay due to Holidays?

Fair enough.

OP just as a heads up Alufelgen is a very reputable company and they will get you your product, it may be late, but it will get there.

Holidays shouldn't cause a delay. The boat get here on the 25th on November which is Thanks Giving and is typically unloaded the following day which is the 26th. So Thanks giving shouldn't cause a delay and Christmas is too far to be a concerned.

Thanks for the feedback. I completely understand them though. I would be as frustrated and anxious to get my wheels as they are

Nice of you to provide us customers w/an update. However, I want to point out that after you told me the end of Oct you then relayed the wheels were gonig to be delayed until the 10th (see e-mail from you below).

"Yes. We are still here The wheels are scheduled for Nov 10th. They are already on the water!

BMW Caps fit without any problems."

I have the most current version of flashplayer, so I don't think that is the issue as I have been able to view your website before. Someone else please look at their website and tell me if you can see anything. And yes, your phone lines are up but nobody is home. In addition I e-mailed you with no response, so I am not sure what you mean "we are always available..."

Needless to say I am EXTREMELY annoyed by your inability to determine an accurate delivery date. I don't know who your shipping company is, but I cannot imagine any business that cannot predict with some reliable accuracy when a shipment is due to arrive at port. To routinely miss the deadline 4 times in two week increments tells me that you are not being completely honest about when the wheels were manufactured and ultimately shipped. Sure things happen and ships get held up, but there is something else entirely different going on here.

Please tell me the ship's name and I will track it online so that I can see exactly where it is located and if it even left port at all.

Thank you for the note let's hope you are right At this point Alufelgen has all but lost any credibility they had with me. I think we are being strung along by the proverbial carrot, otherwise people wouldn't pay in advance and order the wheels if they knew before hand it was going to take 2 months or however long it ends up taking them to show up.

Matt - What is questionable???! I am also not debating with you. I am asking for updates because the promised delivery dates have come and gone 3 times already, but more importantly you have my money, so I think I am entitled to ask and be upset and or question what I am being told when you don't deliver. When a manufacturer sells a customer a product with the enducement that it is going to arrive by a certain deadline it is more than appropriate for a customer to ask what is going on and to expect a prompt straight forward response.

I tried calling you twice already with no answer and I sent you an e-mail without so much as a response and now you are telling me for some mysterious reason the wheels are not expected to arrive for another 2 weeks yet, so forgive me if I am just a wee bit upset.

I was looking for these wheels in september, now december. On August 2nd I was told three weeks or so from wheel addicts. I will not be able to use them as I now need to throw on winter rubber. What a joke. As if they had no idea this was going to happen! Planned from the beginning. I am certainly frustrated and close to cancelling my order.

+1 on getting the ships name. I think that's a reasonable request considering it's been delayed for so long. Especially if there's nothing to hide.

Our products are above and beyond our competitors so rest assure the wait will be worth it.
According to Alufelgen on 10/22 the wheels were already "on the water" and were to arrive in less than 30 days, but that did not happen. Does it really take 35 days for a cargo ship to cross the Pacific and to the east coast?

At this rate, EVEN if they show up at the port on the 25th I am will to bet they will not arrive for another week or so to wherever Alufelgen is having them delivered. Then it will likely be another 2 weeks before they get the shipment sorted out and the orders sent out for delivery and given the holidays I would anticipate the delivery process getting bogged down. I am guessing we will not see wheels until the end of Dec or early 2011, but maybe I am being a little conservative.

Matt - How about that request to provide us with the ship's name?

+1. Thanks for being on top of this. I know these wheels are quality and they are what I want. That is why I have waited three + months. But, at this point I feel like I have been lied to enough times to warrant cancelling my order. Only on a forum buying car parts would customers be treated this way without an offer of true transparency and possibly a discount.

I feel for you guys that have been left in the breeze for 3 months - I would be furious! As you can see I would not have the patience for it. Sandbag me once okay, sandbag me twice I start to get my hairs up, but sandbag me a third time without so much as a rational reason or more details then I don't care how long I have been waiting I will let it be known I am not happy. At this point I might even be willing to accept the reason, that Somali pirates hi-jacked the ship.

I hear they good quality wheels too or I would have demanded my money back the third time the date was pushed out. There are to many good options out there, not sure if I will stick it out if Alufelgen misses another date though.

Looks like we're all in the same boat guys (no pun intended)...I've been waiting for a single replacement wheel from Alufelgen since Sept myself. I purchased a set of CS7's some time ago but damaged one and thus my predicament. I have been in contact w/ Alufelgen and although the wait is bs...they (female I've spoken to on couple occasions) have been very professional and understanding. I too would like a reasonable, straightforward response on ETA. Driving on this beat up, curbed wheel is the pits. Waiting as well...

I'm not sure what the nationality of the guys at Alufelgen is, but their English isn't very good.

What they seem to be good at is avoiding direct questions.

Accordingly, we can say "if the subject hasn't answered the question, then the subject answered the question."

Me? I'd be disputing any charges with the credit card company. If they've already charged you before they shipped the wheels then they violated their agreement with them.

It doesn't sound like this is a very reputable company.
