Getting HID kit: errors?
I'm buying an HID kit for my 2006 E90 with halogens.
Will it install without errors, or do these cars require an error canceling module? |

Option 1 is the way to go option 2 can get you pulled over since you will be blinding everybody. Not to mention option 2 is something you would do in a Civic not a BMW. Yes it can be done error free, I did it but I also did a full conversion. |

You probably will get an error code. I did on my Benz. You can connect the fog lights to the HID (so when you turn your headlights on, the fog lights will also turn on). This way, you will not get an error code.

He'd talking about doing it to his headlights not fogs.

Or you can use a cap or just buy a pair of error cancelors.. Although the canbus ballasts im using did not require me to use any error cancelors; although that is still hit or miss with these cars. Some will require the cap. and some wont.
