look for them to fit like a glove! just follow the directions on VK DIY and your good to go! I have been reading about cheap down pipes all over e90 and all i can say is having your DP's fit the first time like a glove is worth an extra $2-300. Installing pipes that don't fit takes about 3 hours... then trying to make them fit might take another day or two before you realize that someone sold you pipes that will never fit right, then another 2 hours to get your old pipes back on so you have a car to drive. .... then you order some AR's ...they go on in 2-3 hours and so add up all that time, effort and energy and you easily have $300 worth of hassle that you can avoid by getting the best fitting, best performing pipes on the market.

Andrew paid me in pipes to write posts like this....pipes that fit and perform.

If you were thinking about spending $3-400 on down pipes... splurge for the best, I know I wish I had the first time! If you can pick them up for around $600 than you'll be stealing them.

just remove the bolts, pull forward and let it hang. You don't have to literally remove it.

You're worried about 2 bolts? There isn't anything remotely 'hard' about the install, it's just time consuming and takes patience.

Yea, I knew you didnt have to remove it, it just looked complicated when I looked at the pictures. Hopefully everything goes smoothly.

It was my pleasure setting up your order and congrats on the purchase for your new AR design catless downpipes. They should be arriving in our office within 2-2 1/2 weeks and I will give you a call once they're available for pick up! Remember guys, I have these downpipes available in limited quantities for Black Friday so get them while supplies last!

steering colum is easier than it sounds.... 2 bolts... I just removed one and slid the passanger side forward. I spent hours .... scratch that.... days under my car when I ordered some cheap ones and got quite comfortable there. I left heat sheilds in place too as the small screws were a PITA to get back in. You should be sweating the V bands.... you want to make sure you mouth up the pipes perfectly to the turbos and tighten those babies down. Also, for the rear.... don't lock down the bolts in the back until you get everything situated accept for the highest bolt of the 4. If you wait to tighten it down you won't be able to reach it. You just want the pipes to tigheten down flat on the gaskets so 1/4 tigthen the top, then 1/4 tight the bolt under, then back top for another 1/4 and then the second... you get it.. don't pinch the gasket by tighetening them all the way one at a time.
