What does it all mean?
On Jan 11th, I ordered my 335i Coupe. They showed me the car was in 111 or 112 status? What is that?
She explained to me that it was a car that was ready to be put on the line they just needed to decide what options they wanted on it, but since I walked in I could design it the way I wanted and she could give me the VIN in about a week which she did....got my VIN on 17th. Currently on the BMW owners circle site my car says "En Route" it just changed today. How long do you guys think it will be? Late Feb? |

112 is right before you can change it..the next status code means no changes can be made. Order scheduled for production. Next is 150 - production started. You are the same as me..I would guess you are build week #7...February..would see it in mid April at your dealer.

Which port do gulf coast cars go to? For me it changed to in route after it had already been at sea for 3 or 4 days and the whole trip was only 17 days, so you probably got about 2 weeks before it's here. Call your CA and get ship details so you can see where you're at.
Try your vin in here and see if anything comes up. http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTrac...trackType=Auto |

try this: http://www.2wglobal.com/www/WEP/index.jsp
you can determine what cargo ship your vehicle is on, (via "tracking", then "auto cargo", enter your VIN) and then find out the schedule... mine is on the Taipan, due in NY 2/10. If the ship stops in Charleston SC, that may be your exit, being in LA, but otherwise NY would be your stop. Figure 3 days at the VPC (vehicle processing center) 1-2 days transit time and 2-3 days max for your dealer to unpack & program it.. so basically 1 week after arrival.... the 1-800-631-1117 # is more accurate than the owners circle. Let us know... the wait sucks but is eaiser when you can post and talk about progress BTW: you are very lucky if you ordered Jan 11 and your car is already on a ship!!! I ordered the day after Thanksgiving, and mine was just put on a ship a few days ago!!!

You can also call your CA and they can give you a more detailed up date. This car will arrive in Port Charlotte and should be at your dealer 5 days after the boat docks.Your CA can give you the docking date.

I don't know for sure if BMW has a VPC in SC, but since that's where they make Z4s and X5s, it does make sense. Can anyone confirm a BMW VPC in SC-?
