aero kit lip quote

for the just the front aero lip for an E92 sound a bit high?

Front lip - $385.00
Paint - $200.00
Install - $200.00

I got this quote today from a dealer here in Atlanta...I thought it was a bit high..

Your thoughts?

i think the install price is little high, install it urself, i remember reading that it's secured w/ double sided tape

And some bolts... but you can do it yourself or find a shop to do it for 1 hour labor (so $80-$100); otherwise the quote is good.

+1 Easy enough, just make sure its not too cold or the glue will not adhere to the stock lip.

sounds close to right install shouldnt take over 20 minutes. So that couls lower thepaint, bring it to a shop for $100. The part order from Wholesaleparts@morristownBMW.com they will lower that cost maybe 50 bucks

from what i hear, the price for the lip itself is normal, but chargin 200 dollars for something that would take YOU 30 minutes max is dumb

the local salesman here in orlando told me it would be 4500 for the whole aero kit and said it was impossible to order just the front lip, thats one of the reasons (besides getting it a month sooner) im driving over 100 miles to get mine

wow $4500??? I was quoted $1200 for the kit and $1800 for paint and labor for the whole kit. Just looking at getting the lip now but haven't heard back yet the price for just that.

Hey so they dealer I am picking up my car at told me that they could not order just the lip from the Aero kit. I was wondering if anyone knew a dealer somewhere in California that would order just the lip for me or do you think if I found the part# my dealer could order it?

No kidding - 385 for part, 138 for paint and install. Paint only was 125. The BMW paint shop said that install time in the book ws less than 15 minutes. Some folks here are getting ripped off with some of these quotes.
