Would they do it, unlikely but not because of it hurting sales. A very small percentage of owners overall will do this mod so the impact to sales would be miminal to non-existent. That very small percentage of people is also a reason why they wouldn't bother. Now, if 25-30% of owners where doing this and BMW was concerned about the impact of that on warranty claims, much different story.

I wouldn't of have bought my 335 if it wasn't for all the Marketing the XEDE has done for the 335i. Shiv should get a kick back from BMW.
Friends and coworkers of mine how heard of XEDE want to get a 335 so it's probably a good thing for BMW.

I was gonna get a 335 anyway, but I agree with ya. XEDE does make the ~45k look like a good deal when you see the #'s it's capable of putting out.

also this is a complettly irrelevant question but i ran into some kid with a hatchback GTI todayasked me if i wanted to race for money and i said no, that id race for fun, then he goes on to call me a pussy. When i finally told him i would race for 50 bucks, he tells me waste of my time, and that he has 323fwhp. Is that even fuckin possible on the 07 GTI

Even if he has 323 fwhp, good luck putting it to the ground through the front wheels! You'd be gone before he even knew what hit him.

Yeah, fwd cars can't take advantage of all that power. 323fwhp is way too much. It'll be damn fast for sure, but not as fast as a rwd car with the same specs.

I had a little SRT4 fwd with around 250fwhp and it was wheel-hop city from a go and major torque steer from a roll. I can't image 320fwhp being easy to control.

I have been holding out for the e92 M3, but the mod capabilities of the 335 have me ready to pull the trigger.
