325Ise Autovougue or 335Ise
Hi I am looking for advice please!
I have driven the 335i but not the 325ise and was wondering how the engine performs and is it sluggish in general terms? Obviously a lot slower than the 335! Here is my problem the 325Ise is immaculate Autovougue edition 25000miles 56 reg. 335Ise 56 reg 19 inch alloys Auto paddle shift, 54000 miles. What is the current market value of the two cars? Would people be put of with the 325 due to it being a petrol and having the autovogue body kit. Is the 335Ise a car in demand due to being a big engine car!! Basically what one will be easier to sell in 1 year? Thanks |

It's as arbitrary as asking would you prefer an apple or a banana. They are both different cars. One will be fast and cost more to run, the other will be slower and cost less to run. What do you want your car to do?
PS think you will find the 325i slower than your 2.0T. But it will be a nicer sounding engine! |

The 'All show and no go' rears its head. Thats an Autovougie 325i for sure. The 335i SE is much more 'no show and all go'. Whatever floats your boat, but at resale, the autovougue will only appeal to a very limited set of punters.

I think ill we go for the 335ise! Whats the resale like on this model, do the cars hang around a bit due to the large engine?
What should I be looking to pay in this climate for a 56 reg 50000 miles? Shall I go for auto or manual? I will be getting a remap from evolve if this makes a differance? Is there any problems with the paddle shift? Should I expect the clutch to be worn at 50000 miles? Thanks James |

If you can live with the odd mechanical issue go for the 335i

Do you think I will have difficulty when I come to sell the car and it has 65000 miles on it!
Ive noticed dealers have 56 reg cars with 49000 for around £16000. This is the same price that private punters are asking!! What would you pay for a 56 reg 335I with 40000 miles? 56 Reg 325i Autovogue 28000 miles? Thanks James |
