FS BMW performance brake system
I have a set of BMW performance brakes im looking forward to sell.
They have been used since August for about 4000 miles. i prefer locals only but will ship depending were it is. If it is in NJ or any were in NY it is not a problem. If you want i will install them for you, do the flush and all that is required for proper installation for a cheaper price than you would find anywere else The kit includes: 1. 2 front Cross drilled slotted rotors and 2 back OEM rotors rotors are smooth and do not require resurfacing 2. 2 front 6piston BREMBO calipers and 2 1piston back BREMBO calipers. all calipers are included with the brake pads and are in good condition they have only been worn about 20% 3. 2 bigger heat shields in the front for the bigger calipers and 2 back heat shields The brakes are BREMBO but instead of a BREMBO logo there is a BMW performance logo on the sides and are a yellowish color. You must have 18" rims or bigger in order for them to fit. The back brakes are the same size as OEM but only difference is the brand and the color. I suggest buying cross drilled slotted rotors for the back as well so the car looks better and will improve on the braking as well. I do not plan on selling the sensors b/c i will leave them for the OEM brakes. If you wish to buy them feel free to do so. but if you dont i have a friend at a dealer who can get me the parts for cheap.i will answer all questions if you have them if you wanna txt me my number is 646 464 4139 name is Eric Here are some pictures of the when they were new. if you want more pictures just let me know |

They fit on the 335 but only the back is bigger than this and they definitely wont brake as good as this!! you feel the difference right away. i also stated that you could put a bigger
rotor in the back .that would be good enough |

surprised these have not sold yet. for the longest time i was trying to find a way to have this kit fit on my car but even if i could find someone to fab the brackets, i didn't want to mess with the brake bias. but if i had an e90, i would've bought these in a heartbeat.

Maybe if OP posts price in his listing he will get better interest. Just a thought.

For the sake of making sure buyers are informed. As far as the BMW perf brakes vs stock 335 brakes, It's been stated over and over by people who have tracked both that there is no advantage to getting the perf brakes, other than looks. The perf brakes use a smaller and thinner disc, which does not dissipate heat as well and overall does not perform as well as you'd think.
When compared to stock 328 No question the perf brakes are a great upgrade. Better looking and better performing. Last edited by turboawdfanatic; 11-26-2010 at 07:23 AM.. |
