Saying Hi from a bimmer newbie

Hi all bimmer fans

Gonna pick up my

320d in early Dec. I have already decided to tint my car with Midnight express @ Tint-a-car in Five Dock Syd.

I am planning to put a layer of Nanolex Premium Paint Sealant on. Did any one have experience with this sealant and can someone recommend a detail shop for me to put this on?

Will post photos asap

Not needed on a BMW. I had an E36 for 6 years and and E46 for 7 years. After a quick wash, the paint sparkled like new. Many people would ask if my car was new, even after I had both for 6 & 7 years respectively.

My 2005 E90 (which is in need of a wash) still looks like new after said wash.

Unless you are near the sea or loads of snow, in my very humble opinion, it is really not necessary. BMW do a great paint job.

Put in on myself. The 2 products i bought were nanolex paint cleaner and nanolex pain sealant. The product cost $ 50 .

The dealer is promoting paint/leather protection at an exorbitant price ~2800Aud. They call it nano technology paint protection

I hv been reading quite a few thread these few days about car washing n protection
Apparently many member in US have quite good experience on "Optimum No Rinse Wash & Shine". So I probably will get that on carcareproduct to give it a try.

bimmer320d, hv you tint your 320d yet? which one did you get?
